Yesterday I went shooting with the intention in mind to put my new Tokina 12-24mm f/4 to the test. I think I did manage to get a few nice pictures using the lens, but but as fate would have it, my personal favorite of all the pictures I ended up taking turned out to be one captured with the good old 85mm f/1.8D Nikkor: it's eerie how often this one lens delivers for me even in the most unexpected circumstances.
