I was just reading the Guardian's Comment is Free site, and saw an article, by someone called Graham Harvey, in relation to organic farming which claims:

"Strictly speaking Miliband is right to remind us that the jury's still out on the health benefits - or lack of them - of organic food. Yet it's a fact that the NHS is currently spending billions in treating a host of degenerative diseases that were rare or non-existent before Britain set out on its experiment in industrial agriculture."

This is not a parody.

Actually, you know what I find really shocking? That so many of the commenters responding to that article should have been so sensible and grounded in evidence-based, rational thinking, e.g.
