The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment are masters of responding to challenges that arise spontaneously. They generelly prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.
The Mechanics enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people and often like seek fun and action both in their work and personal life. They enjoy adventure and risk such as in driving race cars or working as policemen and firefighters.
Anyone who knows me well enough will realize just how hilariously wrong this take on my personality is; yes, I'm independent, and yes, I do like problem solving, but that is about as far as it goes. Race car driving does nothing for me, while professions like fire-fighting and policing have never excited my imagination in the slightest, and my general principle where risk-taking is concerned is that it's one thing to deal with risk head on when it lands in your lap, but one has to be a fool to actively seek it out.
To the extent that it is even theoretically possible to judge the personality of a person from the person's writings, it ought to be kept in mind that what one chooses to put on a blog is a function of who one thinks one's audience is and what one thinks said audience is likely to be receptive to. If this blog were at all representative of what consumes most of my thinking time on a day to day basis, it would mostly be about archaeology, mathematics, genetics, machine learning, linguistics and photography - but then the likely regular readership would be in the single digits (which isn't to say that it is all that widely read as is). Perhaps blog-based personality typing is better suited to assessing individuals who seem to live, eat and breathe blogging rather writers like myself.
